Our Friends In The North will showcase world renowned, cutting-edge graphic design from designers who were originally from the North East or trained in the region. Featuring ground-breaking work from the likes of Vaughan Oliver, Build and Richard Fenwick, Our Friends In The North will illustrate the rich contribution that the North East has made to the country’s hugely respected graphic design industry. Coupled with the retrospective element of the exhibition will be specially commissioned work by each of the 10 artists involved, along with a small series of events curated by Lobster Foundation to complement the show.
