From The Earth We Came

From the earth we came… sites new work by Daisy de Villeneuve, Lucy Mclauchlan and Steven Wilson throughout the streets of NewcastleGateshead which invites us to consider the beautiful in the mundane, the ornate in the everyday, the way we live in amongst the buildings which surround us every day. Through subtle design interventions and new illustrations applied to the cities’ surfaces, the new works highlight intricate ornamental features and the colonisation of man-made structures by plants.
