Aether and Hemera: The Colour of Phi

The Colour of Phi is a site specific light installation where coloured EL wires and refracted light through prisms will define an aesthetic space filled with forces.  It can be viewed at the DLI and Durham Art Gallery from 19 March until 2 May 2011.  Aether and Hemera's installations explore light's creative and artistic potential to express ideas, emotions and surprising encournters; they perceive colours and light as an epiphany of possible beatury, a levity amplifier and a metamorphosis tool transforming spaces.
