Designers Marketplace is a creative event organisation which encourages, supports and promotes over 130 professional creative businesses in the North. Our regular markets provide a platform where both emerging and established artists and designers have a chance to sell their high end bespoke wares directly to the public minus boutique and gallery mark ups! You will find a wide variety of products on sale including fashion, accessories, art, photography, textiles, prints, illustration, home ware, stationary, ceramics and much more.

Held half yearly in Middlesbrough and bi-monthly in Newcastle, Designers Marketplace has been running for nearly three years, gaining recognition as the region’s largest art and design market. Stall vendors in the past have included international printed textile award winners, national award winning stationary designers, fashion brands who sell on some of the UK’s biggest online stores, accessory brands who are suppliers to the stars, jewellery designers who have been featured in Vogue, popular local photographers and the latest raw talent coming out of degree education. Many of vendors have gone onto stocking regional art galleries and independent boutiques as the market not only attracts the general public, but also independent retail and gallery owners and curators.
