He designs products, which are minimal, functional and honest from both production and materials specification.

"The process involved in the mixed media desk accessory is the combination of craft and industrial technique. Metal spinning is the manufacturing process, which is an industrial process but has also retained elements of craft. The scars that tooling makes on metal parts when spun is the UIP of these products, the concrete and wood ring are also kept raw.

I believe these desk accessories will be functional and practical in modern office environment.

My intention for these mixed media desk accessories was to keep it simple, functional, and practical. I first thought of wood parts to jointing components for metal spun parts. It is possible to make metal parts fix to each other, but I wanted to explore different ways to fix them. Therefore, I came up with an idea of wooden rings. This range of desk accessories uses these wooden rings as a jointing feature.

I use 3 materials, which are metal, wood, and concrete. It didn’t take so long to come up with an idea of using concrete as the bases for desktop products as everyone knows concrete is heavy so gives weight where necessary."
