Nous Vous is a collective working on image making and educational programmes.
Image-making is central to our work, whether it be though an illustration project or a piece of design. We have a bold, graphic visual language suited to a range of applications, and we always attempt to imbue our work with a sense of positivity.
We explore our collaborative practice most distinctly via exhibitions, which take the form of group shows and improvised installations.
We are very much open to working with other
design studios, artists and institutions - it allows us to meet interesting people, and encounter things we never normally would. Leading workshops and teaching is also an important part of our practice, as it opens up an exchange and enables us to apply creative ideas in new ways.
This limited edition is part of the FRESH ONES range by Nous Vous. In order to cut out material and financial waste by buying in far more than we need, FRESH ONES products are handmade according to demand.
We are using organic cotton t-shirts and heavyweight cotton to make shoulder bags, which are machine-stitched by Nous Vous. T-shirts are handpainted and ironed to fix the design. As part of the FRESH ONES range, we aim to introduce limited editons such as this one, based on a particular idea or event. For Design Event we are creating designs based on this year’s theme of ‘happiness’.
FRESH ONES is a range of unique, hand-crafted objects for everyday living, made by Nous Vous.
Everything we sell is either hand-painted or entirely hand-made, and we won't be producing any more than we need. We'll be changing the designs every so often, and developing the range as we go. For Design Event we are making a limited edition t-shirt and bag.
Our aim is to make useful, beautiful objects with minimal financial and material waste.
