Design Event at Tent London September 2012

Based on the success of exhibiting at the London Design Festival in 2010, Design Event took a second cohort of designers from the north of England to exhibit at Tent London in September 2012. 

The designers were selected by a panel of industry experts and were then supported with a business development programme to ensure that they got maximum benefit from exhibiting at  Tent.

2010 Activity:

Eight designers exhibited with Design Event in 2010 with a diverse range of products and had an overwhelmingly positive experience, making direct contact with national and international press, buyers, specifiers and other industry specialists.  Exhibiting designers were featured in publications including; ICON, Living Etc, The Sunday Times and Elle Decoration.  Relationships were fostered with national furniture retailers, homeware retailers, architects and independent design shops which resulted in direct corporate sales, commissions, platforms for future work and opportunities for collaboration.
