VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
We require volunteers to carry out a range of tasks including:
- Set up of exhibitions including: painting, light construction, cleaning, signage, lighting, running for supplies
- Invigilation of exhibitions including: passing on information to the public, knowledge about designers and their work, guiding people on the city tours and replenishing information tables.
- Marketing - handing out promotional material
- Previews – handing out refreshments, manning the bar
- Break down of exhibitions – helping to dismantle exhibitions and packing up for transportation
Volunteering for the festival will be a great opportunity to help develop your knowledge of the local design scene and experience the ins and outs of how an exhibition is constructed, staged and broken down.
It will also be a brilliant opportunity to broaden your work experience, help make useful contacts and assist with any related courses you may be doing.
