Exhibit with Design Event at 100% Design 2012
100% Design London is a core element of London Design Festival. As the UK’s first and leading contemporary design trade show and a key event in the international design calendar, 100% Design attracts thousands of interior designers, architects, retailers and specifiers seeking new products and collaborators.
100% Design has been running for 17 years, and will take place at Earls Court London from 20 -23 September 2012. You can find out more here: www.100percentdesign.co.uk. Based on the success of exhibiting at 100% Design in 2010, Design Event will be taking a second cohort of designers to exhibit at the show in September 2012.
Eight designers exhibited with us in 2010 with a diverse range of products including; indoor and outdoor furniture, wall coverings, lighting and homeware. Exhibiting designers had an overwhelmingly positive experience over the four-day period, making direct contact with national and international press, buyers, specifiers and other industry specialists. Relationships were fostered with national furniture retailers, homeware retailers, architects and independent design shops which resulted in direct corporate sales, commissions, platforms for future work and opportunities for collaboration.
Feedback at 9 June 2011 indicated that level of sales and commissions stood at £51,850 from contacts and discussions from 100% Design 2010.
The presentation, sales and marketing skills of the designers involved flourished, with them connecting with a wide range of people at the exhibition and talking about their work and practice. This year have widened our geographical area to cover the North of England and will be taking applications from designers based in the North interested in exhibiting new and innovative products with Design Event at 100% Design.
