HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM DESIGN EVENT!

2011 was a busy year for Design Event.  We held a whole host of workshops and masterclasses covering subjects such as Successful Selling, Confident Communication, Product Photography and Presentation Skills.  We also hosted a talk with Conny Freyer from Troika and Simon “Sanky’ Sankarayya and our sixth Pecha Kucha.  In October we held our seventh Design Event festival with over 12 exhibitions, 6 events, 1 installation, 4 buying/selling opportunities and 3 tours.  The festival will now be held on a biennial basis and will take place in 2013. 

2012 holds much excitement for Design Event, we will be part of the Arts Council National Portfolio and our main activity will involve taking a group of Northern designers to showcase their new products at 100% Design as part of the London Design Festival.  The call for applications is now open, please click here for more information.
